Should you be told that a venue will close a show early? Ticketmaster handled tickets for Joanna Newsom's concert on March 13 at the Phoenix in Toronto. It was billed as an early show, doors open at 6:00pm -- no other qualifiers noted. The opening band played a modest set, then there was a prolonged set-up for Newsom's band.
