Since September 2009, I have my mortgage with Chase Home Finance and separately my Home Owners with Allstate. In November 2009, Chase sent out a letter requesting proof of home insurance. W called Allstate and requested they fax a proof of coverage. Allstate did so. Subsequently, Chase sent us a letter that they would no longer need to have hazard insurance on the property, as it was duplicated coverage.
