Bought the TV in late November '06, based on HP's reputation for great products and service. In March 2010, heard a "pop" one evening and the screen went black, although the sound works fine. Very small red dots at the bottom of the screen. Called HP Customer Service immediately and they were able to "diagnose" the problem on the phone by having me unplug the TV, hold the power botton for 20 seconds and then plug the TV back in.
