I bought an alarm from Apex. They sold the contract to SAI and then castlerock. By the time I figured it out they said it was too late to cancel the contract and automatically renewed it for another entire year in addition to the origial 3. It has never worked. I don't think its hooked up to the fire department like they said and I turned off my other smoke detector only to find that when my house filled with smoke the other day this one didn't go off at all.
