On December 31 we checked into The Serrano Hotel near Union Square and put our car in a garage through their valet parking service. Their valets sideswiped several parking barriers and caused $1200 of damage to the car. The hotel refused to take any responsibility for the damage, saying the claim had to be made through the valet service, called ProPark.
