I was using the self checkout and scanning my items as fast as possible. There was an annoying woman with her daughter apparently waiting specifically on me (even though there was 3 other machines!). I had used a basket and not a cart and did not want the basket to bother the next person so I put it to the other side of the machine. It was not in anyone's walking space.
