I recently got a gift card from Sears from my parents for a gift. The value of the card was 100.00 and when i went to use the card, Sears told me it was never activated. The card was never purchased from the store. I told them it should have 100 dollars on it and asked how we get this resolved. The store told me that I needed to have a receipt to prove I purchased the gift card. I dont have the receipt because it has been over 4 months now and we cannot find it.
