For about 3 or 4 weeks I have been experiencing random new windows opening in Mozilla Firefox, featuring totally unwanted spam advertisements for things like on-line gambling, and on-line fantasy adventure gaming (the two I most remember). There does not seem to be any discernible pattern as to when these unwelcome windows present themselves, except that it does seem to happen most when I am opening a new tab in an existing window.
