I have read numerous complaints about this security deposit that Allegheny Power is collecting from people who are barely making the bills as it is. I am one that also received a letter stating that I had been late 3 times in a 12 month period and now I am suppose to pay a $450.00 security deposit to them because of this. I paid a security deposit to them like 20 years ago and have been a customer ever since. I am outraged that the government would allow Allegheny to do this to people.
