We did not have hot water to bathe for 5 days at the Playa Alameda in Varadero. We asked and asked so what did we get. A bottle of rum brought to the room. You cant wash in rum. The beach was not raked or well kept. It had small pieces of branches all through the sand. I went into one washroom outside the Italian REstaurant, and in the first cubicle was a toilet all smashed up laying on the floor. I am so disappointed because it was our first time in a resort and I wont go back there. read full review »
