My 80-year-old mother bought a $530 dollar pillowtop mattress in July 2009. By February 2010 there was a significant, permanent, deep depression in the middle of the mattress. Living Spaces has a procedure for defective merchandise: the customer pays $50 to them, which they promise is passed on to an "objective" inspector who comes to the house to determine if the mattress is defective.
