When I signed up with Direct TV in 2005 I was promised a DVD player - never got it and gave up after trying a couple of times. I was often overcharged and when I complained I didn't get all of it back. Just recently they offered 2 movie channels for the price of 1 and told me I had to get all 4 channels to take advantage of the offer, come to find out that was a lie too.
