I purchased a book online at hotbooksale.com, and on the same day was charged an extra $1.00, then 7 days later was charged and extra $9.95. When I called to request a refund I was told that the $1 dollar was for processing fee on the book, which I had already paid a final price of $11.05, and the $9.95 was for a monthly membership that I agreed to for bestbrands.com, of which I had not been made aware of when I purchased the book but they said was clearly posted on their website upon checkout. do not use these websites as they are scam... read full review »
