I bought an Emerson brand microwave (model #MW8119SB) in June of 2008. It has worked perfectly until a few nights ago when my husband was heating a baby bottle full of water. He heard a loud pop sound...and then nothing. No time on the clock, no power. He tried moving it to another outlet, thinking it may be the outlet, or GFI or something else. Still nothing. I contacted Emerson, only to be told that they wold be happy to replace it, but I would have to pay to ship several items from the broken unit, including the heavy glass plate... read full review »
