I had a loan with Suntrust mortgage starting in August 2006 which was sold to Chase Mortgage in November 2008. After Chase assumed my loan, my homeowner's policy lapsed at the end of December 2008 due to non-payment as Chase did not make the payment out of my escrow account. I had the same homeowner's insurance company since the inception of my loan.
