I recently bought an F 150. It had 309 mi. on it when delivered. I drove it 1000 mi. when I decided to hand wash it. I decovered a small rust spot on the side of the front bumper. The body shop manager at Dick Witham Ford in Waterloo, Iowa took pictures and told ford it looked like a rock chip. Ford won't cover it under warranty. Now I ask you the flawed crome is on the left side of the front bumper. A rock chip should be on the front. Having said that I have looked at several front crome bumpers on older vehicles and have not found rock chips. Is fords new chrome so thin that a tiny rock could chip it. read full review »
