I purchased a 2009 fully loaded nissan altima about 11 months ago. Recently, it started making a loud popping noise when I drive the car and when I get out of the car. At first it was every now and then. This week it makes it every few minutes. I took my car to the dealership this morning and the service guy told me that the '07s and up are having that problem but they would check it out. He knew exactly what noise I was referring to.
