Nationstar mortgage offered us the home modification program even though we didn't necessarily need it. They pushed it as a way of reducing our interest and therefore payment amount. What a deal? Right? Not at all. We followed their direction to a " T ", paid what they asked and on time. After waiting for about 9 months for the final loan modificaiton papers they suddenly deny us and say they are putting us into the foreclosure process !!! ????
