My payroll check was declined by the Certegy Check Service with a reason code of (2). When I called the 866-278-6478 number it was automated. It started off saying that you would need you driver's license number. Then it jumped right into asking the amount of the check. I gave the amount and the next thing it told me was that I had exceeded the amount allowed for the day.
