Just returned from a 2000 miles road vacation to Florida. I filled up with gas every 200-225 miles, and everytime I filled up about 9-9.5 gallons, except when I filled up at the Shell Station on SR 484 at the Florida Turnpike, where their pump registered 13.99 gallons. Unfortunately I found this out after I got home. This gas station must have their pumps rigged up to show that you purchased more gasoline than you should have, and of course they pocket the difference.
