About a year ago my wife went to put gas in her car and her ATM card wouldn't read at the pump so she went inside and the clerk told her to go ahead and pump her gas and he would run her card when done. She filled the tank and returned inside to pay, the clerk ran the card and then angerly stated this card is no good, what are you trying to pull. Not sure why her card wasn't working knowing she had plenty of money in the bank she offered him a credit card. He refused it saying she was trying to rip him off and he wanted cash.
