Beware that any merchant who uses Telecheck can claim deniability for any of their practices. If you write a check that does not clear your bank on the first attempt, but does clear on the second attempt, you will still be charged a $25.00 non sufficient funds fee which Telecheck WILL NOT reverse, even though the merchant received payment for the merchandise you purchased.
