I have been a AMEX cardholder since 1988. Paid my amex Blue bill online because I was on vacation and this happened to be when all the hullabaloo with the new tax laws was also going on and then in Sept. I did not receive my paper statement but I did receive an email telling me that me that I missed my deadline for paying my online bill?? I called amex 4 days after the due date and the online statement reflected 30 days overdue!
