I booked a hotel in San Diego in June. I had to reschedule my reservation for the same weekend at the same hotel. The hotel charged me a deposit for the original reservation on my credit card which I paid. When I changed it through expedia the representative canceled the original reservation and made a new one. The hotel then charged me a new deposit. Expedia told me they would refund my first deposit. It never happened. When I called them they said I needed to deal directly with the hotel.
