I received a call today from someone claiming to verify my magazine subscription, which I had supposedly been receiving for several months to an address at which I have not lived for almost a year. When they asked to verify my credit card account number, I did not recognize the last four digits listed. When asked by them for a current card I told them I did not recall ever ordering any magazines, or receiving such as a gift from any family members and would not give them a current card number.
