Because of my husband's illness we fell behind in our mortgage. We then applied for a loan modification from Chase (our mortgage company) in June 2009. We filled out all the necessary paper work and sent them the info via fax and fedex. We have since received at least 3 letters saying we need to send them the same information. At the beginning of Oct 09, I faxed and sent them all they requested with a note reminding them not to lose our paperwork.
