We purchased a Brita faucet mounted water filter and before even the first filter cartridge was used up it became very difficult to switch between filtered and unfiltered water. The switch seemed jammed. Then it began to leak badly, so both filtered and unfiltered water are both always on. Now it even leaks through the seams in the plastic base unit.
