Going to try to make a long story short. We got a personal loan in 2007. We opted to have unemployment insurance on the loan, so certain portion of our payment included that insurance. Husband got laid off, insurance company paid for 12 months, things are tough right now like with everyone else. We got 2 weeks behind, and was told if we canceled the unemployment insurance, our payments would be lower, nothing would change with the loan ..we have 36 months left...
