My husband and I are trying to get his school loan paid off. This has been a thorn in our side for the last 10 years. We're finally able to pay extra each month. According to ACS, we can only pay on principle 3 days out of the month. So if we want to pay anything extra it HAS to be on these 3 certain days. It makes no sense to me. They are automatically taking $ out each month to go towards the loan. Why can't we pay extra ANYTIME through the month to go towards the principle? Chase just sold our loan to ACS.
