Wells Fargo has started (new to me) holding payments made to your personal line of credit accounts without notice. This first time this occurred was when I made a sizable check payment to payoff my line of credit like I've done in the past. They put a 15 day hold on the payment even thought the check cleared my bank 2 business days later. Their excuse for not notifying me was that by the time I received a mailed notice, the hold would have cleared. Would the letter be coming from the far reaches of Antartica?
