I purchased an HP Compaq notebook computer. Long and aggravating story...the motherboard went out of it. I was told by a local computer repair that they had seen the issue in at least 15 computers of the same model. Thinking I was just out of a computer, I didn't do anything until a friend of mine said that there was an extended warranty from HP due to the issue and mine qualified.
