Time Warner has no clue what they are doing. I had a cable card installed in my Tivo and had to switch Tivos. The first person I spoke with told me to take the cable card out and transfer it to the new tivo and call back. When I called back, the person I spoke with told me I shouldn't have touched the card. Great training program they have there. She set up an appointment (I now have no cable BTW) for the next day. One of their convenient time slots right in the middle of the work day (11-2).
