The vacuum cleaner was exceptionally loud from day one and we were sorry we bought it for that reason. In about 2 months time a white plastic piece in the motor broke apart into many pieces and the unit ceased to be operational. All this time I was receiving charges on my American Express card for "lifetime" bags which I never asked for or directly agreed to.
