These globes are the most dangerous items especially if you have children. My 8 year old son was trying to be helpful (without my knowledge) and decided to fill the Aqua Globe with water. Unfortunately, the small, narrow tube was filled with dirt. He tried to clear the dirt and the stem broke and went straight through his left hand. 8 stitches later, I am on a mission to warn anyone I can about this product. Since our experience this week, I have heard numerous stories of the globes injuring others or just breaking when trying to clear the stem.
