I joined Direct Tv back in 2005 due to being unhappy with my cable company. Just last month I cancelled my service from them because it simply costs too much. Last year my roommate wanted a DVR. I relectantly got her one. When I cancelled my service they told me that I had a contract. I have yet to see a copy of this contract that I signed. They state that all of this was available on their website. The thing was I never used their website to sign up for this additional service.
