I filed re modification papers thru a legal firm in November of 2009. GMAC has given the legal firm the run around since day one. For 2 months they haven't recvd any faxes. Once the paperwork was finally recvd they keep coming back stating either something is missing or they need more paperwork. They are now foreclosing on my home and still show no signs of accepting the re modification. The legal firm says that GMAC is the hardest mortgage company to deal with...the government needs to step in and fine them large $$ and maybe they will get on the program.
