My iPod recently lost the ability to access the music stored on it and would cause iTunes to freeze when opened. I took it in to see if it could be repaired or if I could at least recover the data. I was told that, while the iPod says that there is data still contained within it, it is no longer accessible. They took my iPod to reset it and make an attempt at fixing it.
