Alberson Supermarket
Bruce Schwartz January 27, 2011
I have had one problem with the store that keeps repeating, always out of at least one item I need for my recipe at the time. Sometimes it's uncommon item that I have to go to Vons for or what usually is is a very common item like split green peas that they can't seem to keep in stock. I have discussed this with employees over the past year. But their is nothing they can do about it. About 4 weeks ago when yet again this store fell short of an item I needed I talked to the General manager which is no easy task and time consuming. He... read full review »

San Diego Union Tribune
Bruce Schwartz August 2, 2010
A sad state of affairs for The Union Tribune in San Diego. The Union Tribune is the only large newspaper in San Diego. They have no competition and yet they are barely surviving. The newspaper has to cut back on their staff with a number of them being fired. The VP has replaced these positions and others with companies outside the state of California and even as far away as Panama City, Panama. So If you have a question for The Union tribune you better polish up on your spanish as it is very difficult to understand their English. That is a... read full review »

tivo.com
Bruce Schwartz July 13, 2010
This is an update from my 7/9/10 complaint. Since my original call to the executive relations dept I have not rec any contact about the privacy issue I brought up. Even though Mellisa promised that I would be contacted by the privacy dept. As a matter of fact they put in my records that nobody at customer service should talk to me and that the executive office is handling this issue. But so far they have not returned my calls or my emails. In essence they have prevented me from discussing this with anyone at all. If anyone has any contact information other then customer support I would appreciate it. read full review »

TiVO
Bruce Schwartz July 9, 2010
When I purchased my Tivo boxes I was assured that my privacy settings would be respected. I told them how I wanted them set and was assured again that they would be. To my surprise about 6 months later I learned that when you initially set up your Tivo box it automaticly sets you up for a less restricting privacy setting then you were originally told it would be. When I called to find out what happened I was told that I could have easily reset my privacy to the strictest setting by going to messages/settings at the time I set up my box. I... read full review »

LAZ Y BOY FURNITURE GALLERIES
Bruce Schwartz June 7, 2010
I recently purchased a chair from the Mission Valley Laz y Boy store. In order for the sales person to make the sale he agreed to my condition of privacy. I would not purchase from this store if they would not agree to my request. He had no problem with agreeing and we proceeded to complete the sale. many months later I found out in the worst way he did not keep his agreement with me. I then attempted to contact the Executive offices of La z Boy Furniture Galleries. I called them at there Santa Ana location. The phone was answered by the... read full review »

Virgin America
Bruce Schwartz May 18, 2010
I fly first class when I fly and have been looking for an airline that has true first class service. When I found out about Virgin America I was very excited to give them a try. My first flight was not very pleasant but I figured I might have run into a bit of bad luck. So I flew them again, but with no better luck. I have to come to the conclusion that this new airline that I wrongly assumed since it origins are European that they would have a different attitude towards their customers, I was wrong. I wrongly took into consideration that thi... read full review »

LoJack
Bruce Schwartz May 10, 2010
I just purchased a new car and was sold the Lojack system. Also a Lojack Guarantee Plus 5000 Warrenty. It was sold to me as, if and when my car is stolen Lojack will pay me $5, 000.00. The misleading part from the dealership was that was all the information I got. They did not provide any documents or a copy of the contract. If I was provided a copy of the contract it would have shown that I do not automaticaly receive the $5, 000.00. I could receive up to "$2, 500.00 in expenses not reimbursed by your primary insurance carrier, ". But... read full review »
