Bought a rebuilt crate motor from advance.Spartin engine from texas sole builder for advance ( built in mexico).Anyway fired up engine lifters taped from day one, changed break in oil at 300 miles, magnet on oil plug had a inch of metal shavings on end, drove another 400 miles head started leaking.Called advance warrenty they wanted me to replace what was wrong myself, their resonce for lifter noise was to adjust note on a 4.3 you tourqe to spec not adjust like old days, Spartin tech ask if I readjusted them to says a lot for their techs.I... read full review »
