This is a complaint with American Express gift card. My son tried to use his $100 gift card which he received in May and the expiration date was 12/12. It wasn't accepted!! When both he and I called separately we were told to write a complaint because their records didn't go back that far, but they could see there was no activity!! Is this any way to treat a customer in this economy-to lose $100 plus fee?? I am a gold card member since 1982 and expect better service.
