At the first appointment, Backworks took my Blue Cross insurance card. All other similar businesses verify coverage, so it was reasonable to expect they would do the same. And I am certain they were aware Blue Cross did not cover TMJ therapy. Blue Cross is not an obscure insurance company. At no time did they even ask for a co-pay. We were pressured to come 3 times per week. Thankfully, our busy schedule did not allow. Then we are hit with a bill for $1, 500. Backworks charges $235 for 45-50 minutes.
