In December 2009 I received an advertisement for DirecTV service that promised a $100 VISA gift card if I activated service by December 31st, signed up for Choice service or greater and automatic billing. I activated service on 12/23/2009 and was told I met the requirements for the VISA gift card and should expect it within 3 months. After 3.5 months I called them and they said I was eligible but they were behind in processing it but it should be sent shortly.
