I received a mail offer of a free credit report from Lafayette Ambassador Bank, which I believe to be fraudulent. However, the credit report is NOT free! If I understand the fine print in the offer letter correctly, I would immediately be charged a monthly fee of at least $9.95 in order to receive the offer form for a free credit report, but this offer would not arrive (and therefore cannot even be responded to) until at least four to five weeks after I sent in the response, meaning that I would, at the very least, be hit with one... read full review »
