In Nov of 2009, I started the Home Affordable Modification trial period and was told by a BAC rep "Do not make the November mortgage payment and in 3 months I would get a packet in the mail." During the next three months I called in from time to time to check on the status and to see if anything else was needed on my behalf and was given the same answer every time 'WAIT FOR THE PACKET IN THE MAIL."
