BE CAREFUL, BE VERY CAREFUL!! We were contacted by National Home Loan Assistance Company in July of 2008. It started off as a telemarketing call where they indicated that we were already pre-qualified for a loan modification. They said that they worked closely with our bank and that we could skip the next two months payments while they modified our home.
