We purchased a gift certificate for $100 Xmas 2009. It was used in Feb and April 2010. They didn't want to honor it in April claiming it had expired. Fl Statute 501.95 indicates all gift certificates sold after 2007 can not contain an expiration date nor charge any surcharge fees. They told us the remaining $50 on the gift certificate is voided, not refunding the money. This violates the law and is an unfair business practice. Something needs to be done.
