As a gift, my sister bought me an inflatable queen size mattress at Amazon.com, in March 2010. It was not unpacked or used until several weeks later due to its intended user being away. Weeks later, while inflating the mattress there was a loud noise and a huge bubble on the right lower side. Then days later another bubble sprouted in the middle of the mattress that deformed the mattress making it a grotesque shape and unusable, also dangerous because it would overturn when someone lay on it.
