Deffective exchange for same 7 month old phone now requires a data plan. Apparently smart phones purchased after September 2009 require a data plan. The phone being replaced was purchased prior to Sept. 2009 but AT&T argued with me now for HOURS why there has to be a a data plan attached. Need an act of Congress/God to correct this in their system. Looks like they might resolve this ; let's see. They are so frustrating to deal with ; they make account mistakes and you're trapped in "policy" hell. Am seriously thinking about going with another carrier when my 3 phones end their contract. read full review »
