OH MY GOSH!!! This very same thing has been going on with me for the last 3 days. Stating I owe $300 for an online cash advance from back in November. Your story is almost verbatim, except I talked to an additional guy named Danny who wouldn't give me his last name and he is supposedly the supervisor.
