We had a new garage door installed and we also purchased new remote openers to be programmed as well. The "tech" they sent out to program the remotes insisted that the remotes didn't work because the sensor or transmitter in garage door opener was broken and that we needed a new one for the price of $350-600 after just spending $750 with the company.
